(ECNS) -- The three astronauts of China's Shenzhou 20 crewed spaceflight mission headed to the launch tower after a send-off ceremony held at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on Thursday, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).
Astronauts Chen Dong, Chen Zhongrui, and Wang Jie reported to the commander-in-chief of the country's manned space program, General Xu Xueqiang, that they were ready for the coming mission.
The astronauts boarded their transport vehicle for the launch tower after getting approval from Xu.
The Shenzhou-20 crewed spaceship is scheduled to be launched at 5:17 p.m. Thursday (Beijing Time) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.
