(ECNS) -- China's first 750-kV substation integrated wireless private network for broadband and narrowband has been put into operation in northwest Gansu Province.
Located in the 750-kV Xizhou substation of Lintao County, this private network can facilitate the access and operation of IoT perception terminals and intelligent equipment. It will function as a “special high-speed channel” for data transmission of on-site intelligent terminals.
Besides, it can be connected to intelligent equipment such as mobile surveillance cameras and inspection robots, realizing the synchronized data transmission from wireless devices like temperature and humidity sensors as well as water sensors.
As part of China's west-to-east power transmission program, the 750-kV Xizhou substation is an important channel linking Qinghai and Gansu.
