    Special: Unlock Chinese Cities

Lighting fireworks to ward off evil spirits and pray for peace is a key Chinese New Year tradition. Liuyang City, in central China's Hunan Province, is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Fireworks.” With a history spanning more than 1,400 years, its fireworks are exported to over 100 countries worldwide. Noticeably, two out of three fireworks that illuminate the sky originate from Liuyang. From the Beijing Olympics to the Qatar World Cup, from daytime fireworks in Los Angeles to Dubai’s New Year display, Liuyang’s fireworks dazzle the world with its brilliance.
