The "Flying Sword," a common trope often found in Chinese "Wuxia" or martial arts chivalry novels, has recently been brought to real-life settings by a vlogger in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

Fan Shisan, a vlogger specializing in ancient martial arts-themed content, has crafted "flying swords" controlled by finger gestures. Over the past three years, he has evolved from a hotel waiter with a passion for martial arts into a "sword master" revered by millions of fans.

The majority of Fan Shisan's videos are grounded in classic martial arts scenes and are presented using advanced technological means. He hopes the videos could enable overseas friends to gain a deeper appreciation for traditional Chinese culture, Fan Shisan said.
