According to the Department of Consular Affairs of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visa-free agreement between the governments of China and Uzbekistan will come into effect on June 1, 2025.
Under the agreement, holders of valid Chinese diplomatic, service, or ordinary passports, as well as Uzbek citizens with ordinary passports, will be exempt from visa requirements when entering, exiting, or transiting through the other country. The visa-free stay is limited to 30 days per visit, with a cumulative maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period.
Individuals planning to stay in the other country for more than 30 consecutive days, or to reside, work, study, engage in journalism, or conduct any other activities requiring prior authorization, must obtain the appropriate visa before entering the country.
