Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang on Tuesday said global governance should abide by the principles of international law embodied in the United Nations Charter, uphold fairness and justice, and oppose hegemony and selfish gains.
The international community should stay in unity and avoid confrontation and conflicts, Qin told a press conference on the sidelines of the first session of the 14th National People's Congress.
